6 Proven Ways To Make Extra Money Online Every Month

Internet Marketing, Marketing Theory — By Guest Author on September 22, 2011 9:16 pm
A while back we had a guest post from Sari, who gave us some tips on making money online.  Below, guest blogger Michael Chibuzor gives us some tips – a few are similar, but his approach is more targeted to becoming your own business, quite like an online entrepreneur, creating your own avenues for income.  Read on, and let him know what you think in the comment section below.
If you want to earn some extra income monthly, from the comfort of your home, select one of these opportunities. Of course, it requires some effort on your part, but the effort you put in can yield monetary rewards. It is possible to make money online, but you need focus, vision and hard work. If you have the above 3 virtues, listed below are 10 ways to make extra income monthly.

You can write simple article that make you money. Content is in high demand on the internet, because Google likes websites and blogs that are updated. It’s not even difficult to write articles, just write what you know.
Intelligent clients would pay you handsomely for writing simple articles of 400 – 1000 words for them. Avoid use of unknown words, write as though you want an infant to understand. You will make money.

For those of us who don’t like selling, this is the perfect business opportunity for you. Each month has been a plus for me, because I earn some extra income from AdSense. This system of advertising on your website is owned by Google and works in a simple way. You display Google ads on your site or blog, when your visitor clicks on those ads, you get paid. To start with, build your traffic first, and then apply as a partner.
You’ll make more money when you try out the latest Google Adsense for domain.

This system of making money is somewhat simple and profitable. Just like AdSense, you don’t have to sell anything. All you have to do is refer someone to sign up to another site, or register with a membership site and get paid.
On the internet, email marketing is powerful and that is why marketers could pay you to help them out with leads. Leads refer to people who are targeted, responsive and willing to buy any specific product and service. So, begin with your friends, facebook fans, twitter followers and earn commission for your efforts.

There are millions of online shoppers right now doing what they love best – shopping. Why don’t you get a drop shipping site, refer these shopping enthusiasts and when a sale is made via your site, you earn commissions?
This business opportunity is great, because you don’t have to ship items that your customers bought. All you have to do is forward the purchase details to your merchant, like ebay, wal-mart and the rest and they would handle all technical and shipping issues. You just stand by and wait for your commission checks.

A membership site is another way wise marketers leverage the internet to earn passive income. This type of income is not dependent on their effort, they simply work hard to refer recurring customers, and that’s all. Whenever these referred customers renew their membership, you (the referrer), earns a commission.
I know a lot of people who are managing  membership sites. You don’t even have to create one, just join as an affiliate and work hard to refer a handful of members. This could pay your bills while you chat with your facebook friends.

Internet shoppers and Buyers are eager to save money. Whenever they are inclined to purchase an item, the first thing that comes to their mind is, how do I save? It’s not really how much they save that gives them fulfillment, it’s the joy of being recognized as a customer.
So, get started looking for free icontact coupon, web hosting coupon and what have you. Get as many shoppers to use your coupons via your referral link as you can, and earn commission for your labour.

Becoming a successful blogger takes time, but the rewards are amazing. I know some bloggers who are earning 6 figures simply from writing. There are several opportunities associated with blogging. You could get your guest post featured on A-list blog, and this amounts to quality traffic.
You can then leverage the traffic, and monetize your blog with affiliate products, banners, pay per click and even sell your skill. You’ll make money easily.
There you have it. The 6 proven ways you can make money from the internet, working from home. But until you take action, nothing changes around you. Start today and meet me at the top!

Google Likes Twitter & Facebook Links

Marketing Theory — By BS Free Marketing on November 7, 2011 8:00 pm
Matt Cutts, of Google fame, addresses links from Twitter and Facebook. Our opinion is a link from a authortative site such as twitter and/or Facebook has value, whether or not the link is followed or has the nofollow tag applied. Google is smart enough to understand the weight of a powerful social system such as Twitter and Facebook.
He answers this question: Links from relevant and important sites have always been a great way to get traffic & acceptance for a website. How do you rate links from new platforms like Twitter, FB to a website?

Essentially, Matt says Google treats links the same whether they are from Facebook or Twitter, as they would if they were from any other site. It’s just an extension of the pagerank formula, where its not the amount of links, but how reputable those links are (the company uses a similar strategy for ranking Tweets themselves in real-time search).
While Facebook and Twitter links may be treated like any other links, they do still come with things to keep in mind. For one, with Facebook, you have to keep in mind that a lot of profiles are not public. When a profile is not public, Google can’t crawl it, and it can’t assign pagerank on the outgoing links if it can’t fetch the page to see what the outgoing links are. If the page is public, it might be able to flow pagerank, Matt says. With Twitter, most links are nofollowed anyway.
“At least in our web search (our organic rankings), we treat links the same from Twitter or Facebook or, you know, pick your favorite platform or website, just like we’d treat links from WordPress or .edus or.govs or anything like that,” says Cutts. “It’s not like a link from an .edu automatically carries more weight or a link from a .gov automatically carries more weight. But, the specific platforms might have issues, whether it’s not being crawled or it might be nofollow. It would keep those particular links from flowing pagerank.”

Audio/Visual Media, Featured, Internet Marketing — By bigoak on September 8, 2011 2:59 pm
Color is the one of the most important factors in web designing . You can craft websites that are more beautiful and stylish with an outstanding CSS colors style sheet. It is in human nature that that colors always compel human eye . It is a language in and of itself that speaks to the audience.
Here is a simple guide of CSS colors that show you how you can play with it.

You can find that there are a variety of options available that you can explore. There are some basic codes available with each color type. You need to explore a simple theory behind the psychology of humans. These objectives must be considered before you initiate any web project.
There is a variety of types available in color value notation in CSS. There are many methods available that you can check cross border compatibility. However there are certain limitations.
Colors are unlimited and beyond one’s imagination. You can make multiple combinations to use in your display. When you find the best color for your page then make sure it has browser compatibility too. You must be capable of display the color, where you want I to be. For any color, you need to know its value and type, whatever you are using. Thus find the perfect shade and check if it works for you by checking its compatibility.
There is a standard format for using different types of notions.
It is a little difficult for using of beginners because there are some calculations involve in it like using percentages, degrees of the circle of color etc. that leads to little complexity. As one get expert in using that then that would no longer be a difficult task. It provides one of the best set of color values to your web pages.

Making effective ad copy to boost your affiliate marketing

Internet Marketing — By bigoak on November 21, 2011 4:08 pm

The higher you go up the ladder, the complex it gets – anything and everything. This is true even in case of the search engine optimization and make money affiliate marketing. So the better your position in the search engine and the more potential clicks on the links that you will be able to receive the higher will go the expectations for improved version of your ads become. So, how can you make effective ad copy so as to boost your affiliate marketing?
The effective ad copy strategies that can help you in getting boosts over the make money affiliate marketing programs are:
1. Get ideas from super affiliates – It is better for you to get the ideas from the super affiliates who already have been able to experience lots of success with affiliate marketing. They would be able to provide you with real life ideas that may really be able to help you in succeeding with affiliate marketing. However, one thing that is really important is following ad copy writing ideas based on your website and situation.
2. Make friends with the seller – You will have to try and make friends with the seller in order to be successful. The seller wants you to be successful so that you can help in increasing the sales. The seller is the person who will be able to provide you clear idea about affiliates and this is going to help you a lot in writing effective copy ads.
3. Write keyword specific words – While writing ad copies, it is important keep in mind the keywords you are banking on. If you write the content of the ad based on the keyword it would look much more real and relevant. Thus, more and more people may get interested in the ad and in this way there can be a surge in the sales. This is again beneficial for you.
4. Analyze the paid search results – In case of the pay per click make money affiliate marketing programs, you need to analyze the search results from time to time. It is important to check from the side of the visitors so that you can make the necessary changes as required.
5. Share particular information – Another great way to get and write really effective and copies are by sharing ideas with other marketers and getting ideas from them too. I have done this myself and have been able to see really good results. Actually every person thinks in a different way and so it is extremely important for you to share and discuss things with others because you never know what kind of strategy another person is following.
Actually, if the real life examples are to be considered, as an affiliate it becomes important for you to be one of the sellers. This will help you in better understanding of the whole thing. Thus, it will also help you in representing the ads in the right way.  You need to act in a way which is going to convince people that you are actually a business owner. This will help you in establishing authenticity of the products for which you are actually writing the ad copies.
Another thing that I have learned from an affiliate friend of mine is that super affiliates never work in isolation. This is really true and as I too started to work with others, I was able to see better results. When you work in a group, there tends to come in so many kinds of ideas that you will rather be spoiled for choice.

Don’t Overlook Facebook

Featured, Social Media — By BS Free Marketing on October 29, 2011 4:01 pm

Facebook represents a fantastic opportunity to engage with prospects and customers at zero cost and only the investment of a small amount of time.  Facebook is also an excellent networking tool because it attracts more adults than any other networking site and as such, it is very attractive for businesses looking for a target audience with the means and need for their products and services.
The big issue for Facebook business users is how to get their message across to readers and then get them to pass the message around throughout their own social circle – this is known as “going viral”.  For an excellent example, take a look at the Burger King campaign last year which traded a burger for sacrificing 10 friends – this campaign was immensely successful because it was fun and appealing to all demographics, and was widely adopted across the online networking community.

Ads That Improve Your Mood – Guest Post

Marketing Humor — By Guest Author on September 30, 2011 7:56 pm
Do you ever watch an advertisement and imagine the marketing department sitting around discussing the idea? I’m sure most people don’t even consider the processes behind advertisements but once you do start to consider the process, you begin to formulate the question “why the hell would they think that was a good idea”.
This is the case not just for ads on TV, but also billboards, taxi advertising, bus advertising, newspaper ads and Facebook adverts. It surrounds us every day. But some advertisements are there to to tell us what to do, where to go and above how to behave.
Some sales advertisements tend to follow the same tired storyline of the protagonists who are in need of something and suddenly find a product that meets this need, or they already use a product that makes their life complete and this thing is then desired by others whose lives are incomplete due to lack of the aforementioned product. That’s why it’s so refreshing when an ad simply makes you laugh, or makes you stop and think, actually think. Of course it’s intention is to get you to notice the product, desire the product and finally purchase it, but for a second its simply something rather wonderful.
This article is about a few brands who decided to give their customers something a little different, I hope you like them and that they cheer you up.
Agency Jung von Matt/Alster based in Hamburg were asked to create a print campaign to promote Mercedes-Benz safety features. The idea was that “its not just humans that benefit from the advances in Mercedes superior safety features”. This wonderful idea brings into focus the animals with whom drivers share the roads, who in most some cases never survive that initial encounter with a car. This campaign is subtly done and with a sprinkle of humor it reflects on not only the extraordinary technology behind the Mercedes-Benz, but also the power that being behind the wheel gives us over another sentient beings life.

Taken from both Beyonce’s ‘Single ladies’ video and the viral video ‘where the hell is Matt’. This fantastic advert for African mobile phone company Vodacom, has been called both unoriginal and parody of its self by some. If you are anything like me, you will find it refreshingly funny.  Beyonce has been replaced by a hipster dude surrounded by African citizens dancing to the ‘Single Ladies’ hit.

When Bosch wanted to reassert the new Purolator oil filter Brand, their idea was that the process of changing the filter is so simple, anyone can do it. Its a brilliant piece of marketing that  gives the consumer not only freemium content in the form of a video showing ‘how to change an oil filter’ but also broadens Bosch’s target market.
The videos cover a range of people who you wouldn’t automatically think of when considering any kind of car mechanics role. The videos featuring a Granny, and older Amish man and another with a Geisha are all titled “Can a …………… do an oil change”

The beauty about this is Campaign is its simplicity, its such a clever idea in that it isn’t clever at all, it is purely factual. What works here, is that it plays on peoples child like love of naughty scribbles in school books with the new way of consuming data in the blink of an eye. These sketches tell you the whole story in one childlike drawing, leaving nothing to the imagination… as with a Renault service, you get what you expect.

When marketing to Baby Boomers you need to think like one of them and this advert does just that. Its wonderfully hypocritical. Over the 5 videos you follow the stories of a bunch of self obsessed Twenty somethings openly criticizing their parents lives, calling them pointless, dull and near death. You then see the parents are driving their Toyota Venza up a mountain, to a festival etc.

This is not necessarily a clever advert in terms of content, but it is quite beautiful. The camera work is remarkable and flows perfectly with the music. The end of the advert might seam rather clunky and slightly arrogant.

Anyone who has watched the Super Bowl will be familiar with Bridgestone, their ‘scream’ advert showing a squirrel running out in the road to fetch a nut, finding itself facing a speeding car and screaming, setting off a chain reaction through the woodland population became world famous. This ad is very similar only the protagonist is a beaver, again the advert takes you to a quiet country road and a car heading towards a busy beaver dragging a large piece of wood.

In true Austin Powers “Why it looks like a giant …. Johnson!” style, this advert for US car sales colossus Carmax, is aiming to prove that they give the customer everything they want… like a kid in a candy store.

This one really makes you question time and time again “what are they getting ready for?”, its an intelligent ad and one that looks at the enjoyment of a product from a very different angle.

dang video’s not on YouTube
When Zynga the creators of Farmville were looking for promotion they looked to one of the biggest pop stars of all time. This wonderfully campy campaign will have you glued to it, you can image what Lady GaGa would look like on a farm, and how the farm would react to Lady Gaga.  Almost makes you want to block all those annoying games on Facebook, doesn’t it?

What Can You Do With $50 and One Hour on the Internet to Market Your Business?

Featured, Marketing Resources, Social Media — By BS Free Marketing on October 20, 2011 12:01 pm
The answer is you can do quite a lot to market your business on the internet.
The reality is you will need to spend more time on the net but not necessarily more money.  The reason for this is that so much is available on the internet in terms of resources and huge numbers of potential customers already on there.  The issue for you is how to tap into that pool of prospects and gaining understand and skills to use the resources already there.
Nevertheless, you’re rich enough to have $50 to hand so let’s see what you can get done.
For $50 and around an hour, you can build yourself a landing page to promote your business, provide an overview of products and services and make sure your contact information is available for those prospects who want to speak to you.
You do not need to invest thousands in web designers or marketing specialists nor do you need specialist skills yourself.  If you are new to e-commerce, search for free web design services and hosting and test the water first.  If your project returns results, you can consider increasing your allocation of time and money resources and then call in the professionals.  At most, you will need to spend $50 to pay for hosting or a website template to use.
Signing up and producing a profile with FaceBook, MySpace, Ning, Bebo, Orkut and the many other online networking sites is easy and best of all, free!
In return for signing up and generating a profile for your business or particular product or service line, you will be able to generate traffic to your own website off the networking site.  In addition, you get a lot of users referring items of interest around the online networks which is what many marketing professionals look to achieve – getting their social media promotional activity to go “viral”.
We still haven’t spent the $50 yet, but if you feel like doing so, head over to LinkedIn, the business networking community and subscribe.  You don’t have to pay to register and develop a profile but the paying subscribers get better exposure and access to more promotional tools.
Head over to GoDaddy or any of the domain name companies and you will see offers such as, “Get Your Domain Name for Free” or in any event, less than a few dollars.  The reality is that most of the great sounding domain names have already been bought and if they are not actively being used by someone else, they will be gathering virtual dust as someone is holding the domain name for resale or because they no longer need it but haven’t thought of selling it.
For a great sounding domain name or to buy one from someone else who is no longer using it, be prepared to spend a little more time and a little more money to get a name which will really attract visitors to the site.
Setting up a blog is relatively simple and straight forward and you can do it for free as well – just head over to WordPress or Blogger and follow the step by step instructions.
Blogging is very popular and while it does not eclipse search engines for popularity amongst users, blogs have become the focus of a great deal of activity and discussion over the net.
If you want to spend some money, look at buying a domain name for use with your free blog with WordPress who for $10 will let you use your own domain name without the extension and make yourself look more professional.

High Risk, High Return Marketing Stunts

Featured, Marketing Humor, Rant — By BS Free Marketing on November 17, 2011 12:00 am
Business is about taking calculated risks and while some risky stunts have paid huge dividends, just as many have ended with huge losses.  We’re going to take a look at a couple of bold (and utterly stupid) marketing promotions, though in one instance, we’re going to see how the utterly stupid actually was more intelligent than it first appeared!
The UK company promotions people came up with an offer which was just too good to be true, except it was true.  For British customers who spent more than £100 (about $160) on their products, they were given a free pair of round-trip tickets to a European destination, and remember this was before the era of cheap air travel.  The response was lukewarm despite the offer, so the marketing gurus decided to widen the promotion to include tickets to the US.
At this point, the promotion literally took off – several hundred thousand customers bought Hoover products, principally vacuum cleaners, not because they wanted the merchandise but because the plane tickets themselves cost several hundred pounds.
The demand was so huge, Hoover couldn’t supply the product demand but in any event this didn’t matter.  A bean counter realized the company couldn’t afford the huge numbers of plane tickets the promotion entailed.
Court battles ensued in the UK and US (with Maytag, the Hoover parent) and ended with the UK company having to be sold to clear the debt.
“Buy our product and we’ll give away the company” is not a strategy for business success, but Hoover is the number one brand of vacuum cleaner in the UK today.  A case of the operation was a success but the patient died!
Business risk is not usually associated with putting your life on the line, but magician, Jim McCafferty did just that when he set up his new marketing agency, JMP Creative.
McCafferty decided to throw a grand-opening concert with a Houdini-like, death-defying stunt.  Put into a straitjacket and shut into a welded-shut cage, he was lifted to over 300 feet with a timer attached to release the retaining cable.   With gravity set to send the apparatus crashing back down to earth in two short minutes, McCafferty had to release himself from his lofty perch before gravity played its part.
This is where the stunt started to go wrong; no matter where or who you are, gravity always works, but the plan to escape in time didn’t.  The cage presented too much of a challenge and with 10 seconds to spare, McCafferty climbed onto the cage roof and attempted to get into the safety harness just as the timer released the cable.  The cage and McCafferty started plummeting to the ground and he only managed to get into the safety harness 60 feet up leaving the cage to smash into the ground.
The crowd went wild, even while McCafferty was loaded onto a stretcher and carted off to hospital with severe rope burns.  One spectator, thinking this was still all part of the act quipped, “That fall was brilliant, it scared the living daylights out of everyone!” McCafferty didn’t miss a beat and replied, “Yeah, but just imagine what I can do for your brand.”
Today, JMP Creative is a multi-million dollar media and marketing agency – high return for the highest risk possible.

Why Businesses Are Using Internet Video In Their Online Marketing Strategies

Featured, Marketing Theory — By bigoak on October 4, 2011 3:50 pm
Internet video is rapidly becoming a key focus in the online marketing strategies of businesses and organizations, so why aren’t you doing the same? This article explores the essential reasons why Internet video is playing such an important part in the online marketing strategies of businesses and organisations in all niches and sizes.
Internet video has become a staple in the online browsing experience for the majority of Internet users. Website YuMe gave some insight into the popularity of Internet video in February 2011 when it documented that 49% of Internet users watched Internet video daily. Now this wasn’t for just a few moments, YuMe reported that this percentage was actually on the basis of watching Internet video for over 7 hours per person, per week. With the popularity of video sharing sites like Vimeo and YouTube rising every week, these figures will only continue to rise in the future.
Internet video is being used as an online marketing strategy due to its great ability to increase traffic to websites and blogs. By embedding an Internet video onto a website next to interactive web-links you can increase the chances of those web-links being interacted with. As the audience’s attention will be sustained through the use of the embedded video the user will spend time looking at the content and information around the video such as the interactive web-links. By getting the web-link to tease the audience’s curiosity or by using it to provide information relevant to the video you will start to see more traffic appearing in your desired locations, which could help to improve those crucial conversion rates.
Internet video can connect with clients and consumers in a way that no other media can. Website Double Click reported that Internet video based advertisements saw their brand awareness improve amongst its audience by 10% more than standard print or audio ad formats. Double Click also noted that audiences appeared to favor the businesses and organizations with Internet video content much more than those without such content or using alternative content. Double Click stated that this change was because the Internet video represented the brand messages of such businesses and organization in a simple and effective way.
Internet video is playing a vital role in the search engine rankings thanks to Google’s Universal Search system. The new system pulls in news, local listings, images and of course videos that are relevant to your search. As a result YouTube videos are frequently appearing on page 1 of Google, rapidly taking over the rankings of standard website results. Video sharing sites like YouTube also have an array of tools that can be optimized for the search engine results. Making use of keyword heavy titles, tags, descriptions and closed captions when filling in the data on your YouTube Internet videos can help to get your content found and push your YouTube video to the top of both Google and YouTube search rankings.
Internet video is now so accessible and affordable to businesses and organizations that it can be easily commissioned and marketed within their budgets. Technological advancements, increased technological competition and improvements in free technological equipment such as software, web hosting and online distribution has meant that every area of Internet video is now more universally available to businesses and organizations of any size than ever before. For example your Webcam on your computer can record the video, if you’re a PC or Mac user you can use free software like iMovie or Windows Movie Maker to edit your video and you can use free hosting site like YouTube to distribute it to a worldwide audience for absolutely free.
By understanding and taking in these five reasons why businesses and organizations are using Internet video in their marketing strategies, you can start to develop similar strategies for your company too and start getting involved with Internet video.

The Mayonnaise Jar Philosopy

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar... and the coffee...

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.  When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.  He then asked the students if the jar was full.  They agreed that it was.
So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar.  He shook the jar lightly.  The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.  He then asked the students again if the jar was full.  They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.  Of course, the sand filled up everything else.  He asked once more if the jar was full.  The students responded with a unanimous "yes."

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand.  The students laughed.
"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, " I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.  The golf balls are the important things-your God, family, your children, your health, your friends, and your favorite passions-things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.  The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car.  The sand is everything else-the small stuff."

"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.  The same goes for life.  If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you.  Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.  Play with your children.  Take time to get medical checkups.  Take your partner out to dinner.  Play another 18.  There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter.  Set your priorities.  The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.
The professor smiled.  "I'm glad you asked.  It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."
In this guide you will learn a method depending on when you purchase it, how to make close to a 1500% ROI. That is by getting one voucher + other bonuses, I've thrown in to sweeten the pot for you. Of course this all depends on when you purchase it. You see, with thisWSO the price will continuously rise until it reaches it's maximum of $25 per copy. Honestly, the longer you wait, the more your instant ROI will drop. This WSO will only start at $7. The early bird gets the worm and copies will be limited. its not my own guide. i just want to share this method. if you want to see it.
